Jesus Is The Prince Of Peace
Three Things The Prince Of Peace Represents:
I. The Author Of Peace.
“Prince” represents the idea of leader or ruler.
A. Jesus brought peace at His birth - L Luke 2:14
But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law,
B. Jesus taught peace in His ministry. - L John 14:27; L John 16:33
C. Jesus brought peace in His death.
and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.
II. The Arbitrator Of Peace. - L Isaiah 9:6
But now in Christ Jesus, you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation,
A. The personal life of the Christian.
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

What is the most outstanding evidence of the supernatural presence of God’s peace in the Church?
I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
III. The Authenticator Of Peace. - L Isaiah 9:6,7
A. The Millennial age of Peace.
II Thessalonians 2:8
And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.
He shall judge between many peoples, And rebuke strong nations afar off; They shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, Neither shall they learn war any more.
B. The eternal age of Peace - L Rev. 20:7-15
II Peter 3:12-14
looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. Be Steadfast, Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless;
Q: When is the best time to live?
A: When you are living for Christ.
To proclaim Jesus Christ as the Prince of Peace is a little more than nothing more than nothing.
